Is there some particular reason this is called the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line, instead of more obvious "Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line"? Jpatokal 10:50, 16 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Just curious. Also, it'll help flesh out the article and the "Bridge-tunnel" article, which lists reasons for all B-T designs except this one. Does anyone know what was the thought process behind selecting a bridge-tunnel design over a high-level bridge or other design? Was it earthquake or other disaster considerations? Cost concerns?
