Not notable individual.No WP:RS are presented in the article.Seems like self promotion Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 10:06, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Adding to my rationale:The article clearly doesn't meet any WP:AUTHOR notability criteria.--Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 15:43, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As has been pointed out by others above Michael Dorfman is a well known author with a many articles and a number of books published especially in Russian language media. Besides what can be found online you can find his articles in a number of Russian language newspapers offline. His articles has been critically reviewed primarily in Russian language media. He clearly meets notability criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia. The article may have to be cleaned up, not deleted. Ariel Sokolovsky (talk) 19:13, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.

Compromise I'd love, if you'll propose a compromise. I fail to see what compromise may be, if the proponent wants to delete the article, and nearly everybody else suggests to keep it.

Ethnicity in lede[edit]

I removed this from the lede. Can we include his nationality in the lede if there are citations for that? The info box says American/Israeli?Thank you. --Malerooster (talk) 02:21, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Could we also try to get some English language citations as well? Thank you. --Malerooster (talk) 02:26, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
the subject used to live in Israel from 1976, and from 2001 he lives in the US. What citation can be? Lamerkhav (talk) 04:46, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
