Even as it would not be proper or accurate to redact a page entry about Martin Luther King Jr. and rename the entry as simply "King", why redact the name Maharshi Mehi Paramhans and only refer to him as "Mehi", editing out references to his name. Makes no sense.Santmatradhasoami (talk) 20:03, 8 February 2014 (UTC) We don't need to re-name or alter the names of public figures, including those in Indian history. If anybody is reading this (?????), I would like to protest the page vandalism that took place recently, changing the url of the page from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maharshi_Mehi to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehi setting up a redirect to the last-name-only "Mehi" url. I'm not a regular page editor at Wikipedia and am not sure about making all the repairs to the page. For instance, the photo on the page just is last-name-only "Mehi" instead of Maharshi Mehi or Maharshi Mehi Paramhans. I do protest any erasing of the original url https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maharshi_Mehi The person that did this MADE NO COMMENTS AS TO WHY THEY DID IT, or why they edited out part of this individuals' name.
