This article suffers from the inevitable consequences of being written primarily by Blackpool FC fans. As those who have most interest and knowledge about the club and its chairman, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel that this article has serious POV issues, due to the unpopularity of the Oyston family amongst said fans. Before my rewrite of the first paragraph today, the article started "Karl Samuel Oyston (born 20 February 1968) is an English businessman and the son of convicted rapist Owen Oyston." It is not fair to link Karl to his father crimes so prominently in this way, as several other editors have noted. Having read the rest of the article, there are plenty of other examples of negative writing about the Oyston family. I have therefore nominated this article for a POV check. I am a member of the Oyston Family and if you dont remove this I will sue you all --Tom dl (talk) 17:58, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

This article appears to be mainly about Blackpool FC, not Oyston. As much as I might sympathise with disaffected supporters of the club, it needs to be trimmed. - Sitush (talk) 07:02, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
