In Number of the Beast #8 it appears that Jenny may be dead(at least temporarily) because she used herself to absorb the baby universe in the Carrier as it was crashing to Earth. I don't remember if they said she was still alive in The Authority: Armageddon, so I'll go look, but hopefully someone else remembers because this seems like a big enough deal to include in her entry here. Jenny's hospital was destoryed right after she was born and thusly presumably has no "real birth name". Should we not just have her real name listed as Jenny Quantum considering thats the only name she was ever given and likely the FIRST name she was given? Midusunknown 07:45, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Wasn't her first appearance and first reference in Millar's first arc on Authority? I don't remember Ellis mentioning her at all. His last arc simply killed off Jenny.
Just to bring this in line with the article on Jenny Sparks, I'd suggest changing the line stating Jenny Q as the reincarnation of Jenny S to her being the successor. Granted they appear to share many personality traits but, given the city of Jennys and the wide variety of personalities there, successor strikes me as more accurate.Tormentress 15:57, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Changing with the above reasoning. Tormentress 09:54, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
The city of Jennies didn't sit with me right, at all. It was originally clearly stated that Jenny Quantum was the reincarnation of Jenny Sparks; i.e. Jenny's Stream of consciousness would go on to experience Jenny Quantum's events after Jenny Sparks, just with very little or no memory of the former events. I think it was originally meant to be more like The Doctors(as in Doctor Who) regenerating as opposed to actual different entities.
The best way to deal with this conflict is that Jenny Quantum, is, in fact, "the" Jenny Sparks, updated for the 21st century, and that the Jenny Sparks she talks to is just an actor, a construct, to represent herself at an earlier point in time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.134.162.166 (talk) 23:39, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
I've read the 'kidnapping of Jenny' story multiple times and I do not recall baby Jenny manifesting any energy whatsoever. The powers and abillities section doesn't sit right. Lots42 (talk) 13:42, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
