you give such great detail, what about pictures of the various contraceptives?Ac7958 (talk) 00:03, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Wow! Very informative and detailed! You mentioned non-serious side effects of oral contraceptives, but are there any serious effects? Ac7958 (talk) 16:05, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
I think that so far you have done a great job so far. I was wondering if the types of femal contraception you have listed are the only ones on the market. Are there ones that are currently in the test phase that haven't been approved yet? Otherwise you guys did a great job.Drohn141 (talk) 15:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Drohn141 (talk • contribs) 15:49, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm suprised you guys got a topic like this, I figured there would already be something on this topic.. Great start, do you think you could add pictures that were appropriate?--Ewspfld3 (talk) 00:42, 1 April 2009 (UTC)ewspfld3
Ll3919 (talk) 02:14, 29 March 2009 (UTC) I really enjoyed your page. I think you have put up a lot of useful information. I also thought there would already be something posted on female contraception. Pictures would be great as a visual for people to see what the different types of contraception look like. So far you are off to a great start!
I truly found this page helpful snd informational, there were many misconseptions that i had about many of these female contraceptives that have been cleared up. One in particular was plan B, i did not know that this is pill was not recommended to be taken on a regular basis as a form of birth control. One thing i do know is that it is extremely dangerous to use oral contraceptives if you are a smoker. (wrestler07)
I think you guys had a lot of great information on your page. it is apparent you did some research by how detailed you page is.The only thing i noticed about your page was that for the female condom, you stated that its one size fits all. I'm not sure if that entirely true because i have heard from females (I'm a dude so i don't know for sure.) that either you needed to be fitted for one or that just might be an alternative option to the one size fits all.Last thing... maybe look up percentages of females across our country that use or practice each method. I find your page interesting and informative. One suggestion that I have is to include information on why people may not use birth control. This may be found under a different page, but I think it would be interesting to have a section on reasons why others choose not to, when there are so many options. In addition, are these products readily available in all parts of the world? That may be something to look into. Nice page! Looks great (ChelseasexEd (talk) 01:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC))
Great page; I didnt' know there were so many different forms of female contraception. When I read that oral contraceptives can effect cervical mucus, it made me wonder if that can affect fertility later in life when a woman may want to get pregnant and if any of the other forms of contraception can affect fertility later. One other thing I was curious about was the comparative costs of the different contraceptives. You mentioned a few form's costs but it may be helpful if you find the general costs of the other types too.--Rhultgren (talk) 18:15, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
i also think you guys did a really great job. you seemed to gather plenty of useful information about female contraception and really went in-dept with your details. i like that you broke down each form of BC and explained what they are and how they work/are used. i also agree that pictures would help. good job!

As others said, it definately is surprising that this topic was even available. You all made a great page that is very informational. I think the best part of the page has to be the list of risk factors. Their are way too many products out there, birth control amonst many other products on the market, that the health risks and side effects are virtually unknown. I feel like it is very important for the consumer to know the risks and what to watch out for when they are using products, especially products such as female contraception which holds the purpose of making sex SAFER. Great page and great topic. Very informative. Malloch5987 (talk) 13:55, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
