On the contrary @Find bruce: I think the title "Dr" should be added and kept on these member lists, and it's something I've tried to include when possible - such as with Jim Cairns (which is still include on the Division of Yarra page, though I've noticed it's since been removed for Lalor), Doug Everingham, and Katie Allan. I have yet to work on the NSW pages, while Leigh and Jensen were oversights that I forgot to take into account. I think the title should be included as most sources - be it parliamentary or otherwise - refer to the members by this title, and I'm surprised that they haven't been included on these sorts of lists yet. The general rule according to MOS is: national honours yes, professional titles no. I would suggest raising this at WT:AUP, as it is true that they have been routinely included in lists of members per parliament. It is a little bit WP:POINTy, too, to go around adding them to all the articles immediately after it has been challenged. Frickeg (talk) 08:01, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Frickeg, I am happy to discuss this & agree that WT:AUP is probably the best place to resolve it. Thescrubbythug do you want me to raise it there, or would you like to ? Find bruce (talk) 10:49, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's probably the best course of action. I'm happy for you to raise it there Find bruceThescrubbythug (talk) 01:49, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
