Oppose merger due to unsettled circumscription of species name. Hesperian 04:32, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oppose unless someone with some knowledge of the attitudes of taxonomic botanists currently are. From the source from the genus article that crawls recognized Convallaria species, the consensus seems as of the last couple years that it's not monotypic, or that if there were some debate on it that that would be notable enough to keep the genus page separate. Oppose as long as the question of multiple species within genus is substantially unsettled, and especially if any other species do not also share the common name lily of the valley. Alafarge (talk) 18:35, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oppose No one has presented any new documentation that it is monotypic, maybe what is confusing the issue is that there is only one universal common name. Hardyplants (talk)
