![]() | The request to rename this article to Carl Zimmermann (politician) has been carried out.

– No indication that the American politician, whose entire political career on the state, not national level, lasted only two years, has sufficient notability to serve as the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Likewise, no confirmation that the seven-sentence stub for the 19th-century German theologian has primacy over the stub for the Swiss Karl Zimmermann (shooter) or that the fifteen-sentence entry for the American producer has primacy over the stub for the New Zealand Carl Zimmerman (cricketer). Since the form Carl Zimmermann has four entries (more than any other form), Karl Zimmerman and Karl Zimmermann should redirect to the Carl Zimmermann disambiguation page which would list all.
