I feel like Ben is severely underrated as an actor. He's awfully damn good to be so ... I don't know... unnoticed? Under the radar? Personally, I consider him A list. I think I'd put him right under Denzel Washington, honestly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.40.242.208 (talk) 22:53, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If it matters, I'm pretty sure he was still in school when Flash Forward began. I know because I went to school with him until 9th grade. Joyeuse 07:38, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
i wonder if there is any connection between Ben Foster & Peter Fonda, considering that they have so far been in 3 films together —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.151.117.72 (talk) 18:11, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It might be an article of faith in the Foster family that his grandparents escaped pogroms in Russia in 1923, but it is historically unlikely. Had the year been 1913, or even 1953, it might have made sense. But 1923 represented somewhat of a golden age for Jews in Russia.[reply]
The article says "Foster was raised in his father's Jewish religion" and cites this twice. Plus, he is also American, and in the category Jewish actors. Anyone objects to me adding him to the category: American Jews? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anibar E (talk • contribs) 16:04, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Support, the actor does seem to be the primary topic. - WPGA2345 - ☛ 21:08, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Support -- I think the redirect of Ben Foster to the dab page was ill considered and needs to be undone. The actor is the primary search term.-- — Keithbob • Talk • 18:14, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. The footballer currently plays at in the Premier League (the top level of English football). He also plays for the England international team as goalkeeper. Searching GNews shows multiple headlined articles referring to the footballer. Tassedethe (talk) 19:27, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Comment However, a general Google search of "Ben Foster actor" produces nearly 2.5 million results, where searching "Ben Foster footballer" produces only 114,000. That, and simply searching "Ben Foster" shows a description box to the right for the actor, with the footballer considerably farther down, below the movies he's been in and other search suggestions. Corvoe(speak to me) 18:29, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose No real primary topic here. The actor is at least as notable as the footballer, and I'd say the footballer is the most notable. Keeping it as it is makes it easier to spot incorrect incoming links that go to the wrong Ben Foster. LugnutsDick Laurent is dead 08:24, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Close as disruptive; set RM moratorium of three months. This request is to reverse a consensus move enacted earlier this month. Whilst consensus can change, new discussions at such a rate are unhelpful. Timrollpickering (talk) 10:13, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what "[post-production" means in this context, but if it means the movie is currently in post-production and not released, then it is out of date i just saw the movie in a regular movie theater. 9hell or high Water)64.53.191.77 (talk) 19:05, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

– Having a look at the page analysis of all existing Ben Foster articles, I am not really convinced that this is the primary topic anymore. It appears Ben Foster (footballer) is arguably well known, certainly to those who live in the United Kingdom so it would make sense for the base name page to be the new disambiguation location. Also on the music part of the problem I think moving that to the composer is more general than just being an orchestrator. (the page view analysis link can be found in my edit summary as it doesn't work properly here.) Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 18:03, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support per nom, no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Only caveat, is I'd probably prefer the base name be at Benjamin Foster since that's the legal and formal name for all of the entries, but I'm probably splitting hairs.--Ortizesp (talk) 21:41, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support - no PRIMARYTOPIC. GiantSnowman 09:28, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support per nomination. Among the five entries listed upon the Ben Foster (disambiguation) page, the actor's notability does not overwhelm the combined renown of the remaining four men. —Roman Spinner(talk • contribs) 21:05, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support 1st and 2nd, the footballer gets more views (68,770) than the actor (52,172)[[1]], no comment on 3rd. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:41, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
