@Wesley Mouse and Jjj1238: I noticed that in the edit history, there was a minor dispute regarding Alexander's last name, and that you both asserted that standard Wikipedia procedure was not expected to be used for transliteration, in preference of EBU's transliteration, thus your decision to revert changes to the last name from Minyonok to Minenok. However, I can see many instances of both transliterations in a multitude of junioreurovision.tv pages. The EBU website only refers to Alexander once here with the last name Minyonok. His participant profile on the junioreurovision.tv website also uses Minyonok, opposed to Minenok. It seems that if anything, EBU prefers Minyonok, which matches the standard procedure on Wikipedia. Because the dispute took place so long ago, it may be necessary to review which transliteration should be used for Alexander.
Of course, I stand corrected if I am missing any information. I am not trying to push for a change, merely find a source of agreement so that all Wikipedia articles can use one spelling rather than a multitude. --Tuxipedia (talk) 05:19, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
