References to Beckett are of little worth (nihil velis).Lestrade (talk) 20:56, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Lestrade[reply]
Points for humor; but Geulincx wouldn't be of much interest today if Beckett hadn't read him.-FM (talk) 22:43, 22 January 2008 (UTC)FM[reply]
Maybe we should remove the Beckett reference at the beginning of the article because it is repeated at the end of the article.173.72.63.96 (talk) 17:49, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Scott Palmström[reply]
Ita est, ergo ita sit. Is this really accurately translated by "It exists, therefore it is so"? I can think of a dozen ways to translate this phrase, but the translation given is not one of them.
It is so, so let it be so.
Yes it is, therefore it may be so.
Et cetera. A context for the quote will be necessary to determine what its meaning is, but I don't see any context that can make it "It exists, therefore it is so". Rwflammang (talk) 16:42, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
