Kaiser matias I've gone through these now. I changed the citation on point 5, as I found a better one. For point 7, I can't find a source saying that the AFL disregarded ties throughout its history, but I did find one showing that it did so in the 1965 season, which was around the middle of its run (1960-1969). Kaiser matias I've added a newspaper clipping showing the AFL standings in 1966. While they don't specifically mention the treatment of ties, one can see by looking at the winning percentage figures that ties aren't being included in the calculation.
