I'd previously made a very similar change to this but an IP editor inexplicably removed the mention of Manchester as "POV", and at a later point, the by then non-NPOV statement that it was usually reckoned as Birmingham was changed back to the vague and MOS-violating older version. This time I've added sources to avert any POV concerns. undo
