Sochi railway station (Russian: Станция Соч) is the largest of Sochi's four railway stations, and one of the largest railway stations in the Krasnodar Krai. It is part of North Caucasus Railway and located in the Central District of Sochi.

History

In 1913, at the fairgrounds (now the Railway Station Square ) in front of the city cemetery (now Zavokzalny memorial complex ) defined place for the construction of the station building Sochi [5]. Modern railway station building is much larger in size than the previous, built in typical Stalinist architecture and was commissioned 10 September 1952.
