Sobolevsky District (Russian: Со́болевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion) of Kamchatka Krai, Russia, one of the eleven in the krai. It is located in the southwest of the krai. The area of the district is 21,076 square kilometers (8,137 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Sobolevo.[1] Population: 2,604 (2010 Census);[3] 3,221 (2002 Census);[7] 6,079 (1989 Census).[8] The population of Sobolevo accounts for 68.1% of the district's total population.[3]
