Sis (Persian: سيس), also Romanized as Sīs; also known as Sebīs and Sehbīs,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Sis Rural District of Bolbanabad District, Dehgolan County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Kurds.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,463 in 335 households, when it was in Yeylan-e Jonubi Rural District of the former Yeylan District of Ghorveh County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,644 people in 423 households,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Dehgolan County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,645 people in 477 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
