Shingo Kawabata (川端 慎吾, Kawabata Shingo, born October 16, 1987 in Kaizuka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan) is a professional Japanese baseball player. He plays infielder for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.[1] Kawabata won the Central League batting title in 2015 after recording a .336 average.[2]
