Samer al-Hajj (died 9 August 2024) was a Palestinian security agent.[1]

Assassination

Al-Hajj was killed outside the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, where he served as the security's chief inside the structure. Two missiles were fired by an Israeli drone against his vehicle, killing him at the scene. Two civilians, a Palestinian and a Lebanese, were also injured. He attended a meeting inside the camp shortly before his assassination. A protest erupted inside the camp against Israel.[2]
