Rolf Lislevand (1961, Oslo, Norway), is a performer of Early music. He is a master of ancient lute, Spanish vihuela and theorbo.

From 1980 to 1984 he studied classical guitar at the Norwegian Academy of Music. In 1984 he entered the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland, under the tutelage of Hopkinson Smith and Eugène Dombois up to 1987.[1]

From his first albunm with works by composer Hieronymus Kapsberger, he had gained various awards: Diapason d’Or, Choc de le Monde de la Musique, and 10 de Répertoire, to name afew.
