Ran Binyamin (Hebrew: רן בנימין; born 6 February 2004) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Tel Aviv and both the Israel national under-19 team, Israel national under-20 team and the Israel national under-21 team.

Early life

Binyamin was born in the city of Beersheva, Israel, and raised in affluent neighbouring of Omer, Israel, to an Israeli family of Ashkenazi Jewish (Polish-Jewish) descent.[1][2]

He also holds a Polish passport, on account his Ashkenazi Jewish (Polish-Jewish) ancestors, which eases the move to certain European football leagues.[1][2]

Binyamin began playing football in local clubs and after a year, he signed with Israeli club Hapoel Be'er Sheva. In 2019 he signed with F.C. Ashdod and one season later to Hapoel Tel Aviv.

On 30 July 2022 made his senior debut against Hapoel Jerusalem in the Toto Cup competition. On 8 August 2022 scored his debut goal in the 3–2 win against F.C. Ashdod.
