Qaleh Sorkh (Persian: قلعه سرخ, also Romanized as Qal‘eh Sorkh; also known as Ghal‘eh Sorkh)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Ashayer Rural District of the Central District of Fereydunshahr County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,241 in 263 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,204 people in 302 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 962 people in 261 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
