Living people need to have their prompts updated when they die, and prompts may otherwise need changing.
Per "Current areas of conflict" section which links to all the various active Arbitrations, we are reminded that a past Arbitration imposed Discretionary Sanctions - enforceable by an Administrator - on Articles with biographical content relating to living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles.
When having problems with BLPs that you have to bring to Biographies noticeboard or Administrators Noticeboard it is important to link to that section of the Discretionary sanctions page so that Administrators will not be so reluctant to enforce sanctions against editors who egregiously or chronically violate WP:BLP policy. Is there somewhere on the main page where we can mention both dispute resolution and the Discretionary Sanctions link? Thanks. Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 14:32, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Any particular reason the Portal:Biography has to have a picture of slavery ("Pyrates" image). How about an example picture that doesn't needlessly depict human bondage? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.46.60.49 (talk) 20:52, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
In many biographies, it would be very useful to list the languages which the subject knew in order to help readers appreciate the cultures to which he/she had direct access and made direct contributions to. This is especially true of internationally active public figures, thinkers, and scholars. POR613 (talk) 18:51, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
Team, I recently significantly expanded the article from FRED FRANKHOUSE from 3 uncited lines to what it is currently. I'm asking that the article be reevaluated for class rating, and for suggestions as to what I can do to improve the article. Thanks. --JGHSMC (talk) 04:38, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
