Oiketerion (οἰκητήριον) is a Greek word meaning "heavenly body".[1][2][3] It is used in two places in the Bible: 2 Corinthians 5:2[3] and Jude 1:6[3]

Usages

According to the King James Version translation of the Greek, the specific scriptural usages of the word are:

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own heavenly body, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.[4]

and

For in this we groan earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our heavenly body which is from heaven:[5]

Note: The original Greek word "oiketerion" appears twice in the Bible.
