Nicholas McAnulty (born in Sydney, Australia in 2002) is an Australian young actor. His debut role was playing Artie, a 6 year old child in The Boys Are Back directed by in Scott Hicks.
He was chosen from almost 1000 hopefuls for the role. The film's casting director Nikki Barrett called McAnulty "a small force of nature". "When he came to meet Scott Hicks for the first time, he just marched into the room, plonked himself down beside Scott, and started chatting, completely at ease," she said.
