A Ngurungaeta is a Woiwurrung head man or tribal leader of clans of the Woiwurrung tribes and Taungurung Ngurai-illum Wurrung.[1][2] Ngurungaeta held the same tribal standing as an Arweet of the Bunurong and Wathaurong people.
