Neighborsgo is a publication of the Dallas Morning News. The print edition comes out each Saturday with the Dallas Morning News in 39 communities throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. There are currently 17 different editions. Neighborsgo issues are almost entirely written by members of the community. It is one of the few publications in the nation to focus on citizen journalism.

Website

The publication also hosts a Web site, www.neighborsgo.com, on which residents can post news, videos, photos and blogs about their community. The stories in print editions of neighborsgo come primarily from submitted material on the Web site.

The Background

Neighborsgo is owned by the Belo corporation. Other Belo-owned media outlets, such as WFAA, the ABC affiliate in Dallas, and the Dallas Morning News also frequently feature neighborsgo material.
