Mohammad Zakaria (1923 – 1993) was a Bangladeshi actor and producer.[1]

Career

In 1944 Zakaria first acted in the play Navanna, written by Bijan Bhattacharya and produced by Indian People's Theatre Association of Calcutta.[1]

Zakaria came to Dhaka from Calcutta in 1964. He acted in two films directed by Zahir Raihan.[1] In 1966 he joined the Dhaka centre of Pakistan Television as a producer. He first performed in Munier Chowdhury's Kabar in Dhaka in 1972. It was a play produced by Theatre. He was the founding vice-president of Theatre group.[1]
