Miwa Morikawa is a Japanese freestyle wrestler.[1] She won the gold medal in the 65 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.[2][3] She won the silver medal in the women's 65 kg event at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships held in Oslo, Norway.[4][5]
In 2018, Morikawa won the silver medal in the women's 65 kg event at the Klippan Lady Open in Klippan, Sweden.[6]
Morikawa won the gold medal in her event at the 2022 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.[7] She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2022 U23 World Wrestling Championships held in Pontevedra, Spain.[8]
In 2023, Morikawa won one of the bronze medals in the women's 72 kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.[9] She defeated Kendra Dacher of France in her bronze medal match.[9]
