Meckering railway station is located in Meckering on the Eastern Railway route in Western Australia.

History

Meckering station opened on 1 July 1894. A new station opened with the opening of the standard gauge railway on 11 November 1966. The station was manned by a station master between 1 July 1895 and 5 October 1970.[1]

Passenger services

Transwa's MerredinLink and Prospector services stop at Meckering, at least one service each day.[2]

The Indian Pacific also passes Meckering,[3] running once or twice a week (depending on the time of year) between East Perth and Sydney Central, but does not stop at the station.
