Loren Rowney (born 14 October 1988) is an Australian former racing cyclist.[3] She rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. In October 2015 it was announced that Rowney would join Orica–AIS for the 2016 season after her previous team Velocio–SRAM disbanded.[4] After five years as a professional, Rowney announced that she was retiring from competition in January of 2017 after struggling with mental health problems for the previous year.[5]
