Liyana Badr (born 1950) is a Palestinian writer.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page). She was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Jericho. She graduated from the the Beirut Arab University but failed to finish her postgraduate studies due to the outbreak of the Lebanese civil war in the 1970s. She left Lebanon after the Israeli invasion in 1982 and lived all over the Arab world, in Syria, Tunisia and Jordan. She came back to Palestine in 1994, and now works as a cultural official in the Palestinian government.
