Lishtar Rural District (Persian: دهستان ليشتر) is in the Central District of Gachsaran County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Eslamabad-e Lishtar.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,241 in 1,735 households.[5] There were 8,523 inhabitants in 2,179 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,543 in 2,300 households. The most populous of its 65 villages was Chahar Bisheh-ye Olya, with 1,816 people.[2]
