Linley Point is a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Linley Point is located 10 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Lane Cove.
Linley Point is a peninsula that sits between the northern side of the Lane Cove River and Burns Bay. Views to the Sydney CBD and the Sydney Harbour Bridge with Hunters Hill and St Ignatius' College, Riverview in the foregound are the area's primary attraction.
Linley Point is a small, middle class suburb, with approximately 100 houses. It has recently undergone significant redevelopment, particularly of older houses.
The only access by road is from View Street, off Burns Bay Road.
