Kainan University (KNU; Chinese: 開南大學) is a private university located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

History

KNU was founded as Kainan Commercial and Technical High School in 1917. In January 1990, the school was upgraded to Kainan Institute of Technology. Finally on April 2006, the school became Kainan University.[2]

Faculties

KNU includes separate schools of commerce, health care, humanities and social science, informatics, and transportation and tourism.[3]
