Jane Ramsey, Baroness Ramsey of Wall Heath, is a British politician. Ramsey is Chair of the Young Epilepsy a former senior adviser on Standards and Ethics to the Labour Party.[1]

Career

Ramsey has been Chair of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and previously, Vice Chair of University College London Hospitals. She has also served on the Council of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, the Department of Health Audit and Risk Committee, chaired a local Housing Association and has been Head of Law for two London boroughs.[2]

Ramsey was an independent member of the Committee on Standards in Public Life until 2020.[3] She was then appointed to lead a new independent complaints process for the Labour Party.[4] She was nominated for a life peerage by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer[5][6] and was created Baroness Ramsey of Wall Heath, of Dulwich in the London Borough of Southwark, on 13 March 2024.[7]
