The Ipswich Australian Football Club is an Australian rules football club located in Ipswich,_Queensland, Australia. The club emblem is the Eagle and the club plays in the third Division of the SEQAFL Div 3.[1]

History

Formed in 2001 as a result of Ipswich Cats and RAAF Eagles merging. By 2000 the Ipswich senior club had been in recess and with changes in Australia's Defence Forces priorities, causing pressure on the RAAF Eagles. Seeking to remain active in the community , the RAAF Eagles sought a merger with the remnants of the Ipswich junior club to create the Ipswich Eagles AFC. [2]
