Hit (Persian: هيت)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Hit Rural District of the Central District of Qasr-e Qand County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,751 in 570 households, when it was in the former Qasr-e Qand District of Nik Shahr County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,990 people in 634 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,395 people in 710 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Qasr-e Qand County.[4] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
