Hareem Farooq (Urdu: حرم فاروق) is a Pakistani film and [television actress]] and model.[1] She rose to prominence by acting in a theater plays like Pawnay 14 August and Angan Terha. In 2013 she acted in critical claimed movie Siyaah, which earned her a critical acclaim, foe which she was nominated as a Best Actress at 1st ARY Film Awards. She is currently appeared along side Ahsan Khan and Yumna Zaidi in Hum TV's drama serial Mausam.[2]

Personal life

Hareem born to a Muslim parents in Islambad, later they shifted to Karachi where she did her schooling from Karachi Grammar School and graduated from University of Karachi. Later on she moved Karachi along with family.[3] She is a cousin of Pakistani musician and singer Abdulllah Qurreshi.[4]

Acting career

She began her acting career through theater by acting in theater plays, she has acted in Anwar Maqsood's famous play Pawnay 14 August and theater version of Pakistani historic comic serial Angan Terha by playing lead role. She then appeared as a leading lady in critically acclaimed Pakistani independent film Siyaah, where she was praised for her acting skills. In 2013 She bagged the role in drama serial Mausam on Hum TV directed by Roomi Insha and produced by Aliya Bukhari.[5]
