Dutch Game Garden is an organization dedicated to fostering and enhancing the video game industry in the Netherlands. Established on June 19, 2008, the organization plays a pivotal role in facilitating connections among entrepreneurs, financiers, knowledge centers, and governmental entities to promote collaborative growth within the sector.[1][2]

In 2010, Dutch Game Garden inaugurated the INDIGO showcase, an interactive exhibition showcasing Dutch video games. This event has since evolved into an annual occurrence within the Netherlands,[3] and extends its reach to international venues, thereby providing a platform for Dutch video games to gain visibility at global events.[4][5]

In recognition of its contributions to the industry, the Dutch Game Garden secured a substantial subsidy of 4 million euros from the government and the European Union in 2011. This financial support was granted to enable the organization to continue its mission of promoting and advancing the video game industry in the Netherlands for an additional five years.[3]
