The Rugby team is one of the leading sport team of the self-sufficient Padukka Piyarathana College with many academic achievements as well as sporting achievements,Padukka Piyarathana College Rugby was started in the year 2002. The Padukka Piyarathana College Rugby team is also the first school Rugby team in the Homagama educational zone.Thilanka Jayawickrama is the first captain of Siri Piyarathana college Rugby, Under the captaincy of Anushka Nimantha, Piyarathana College won the 2007 League Group Championship for the first time. The Piyarathana Rugby team Create their team name 'TITANS RUGBY' on this year. 2017 Titans Rugby team, led by Gihan Kavinda, won the league group title again. Then again in 2018 under the captaincy of Imesh Newamal Titans Rugby team won the league group title and promoted to the Division one segment School Rugby Sri Lanka.[1]
