American judge (c. 1885–1942)
James A. Meredith (c. 1885 – April 19, 1942)[1] was a justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia from his appointment on January 2, 1922 until December 31, 1923. He technically held two different seats on the court, being appointed to the second immediately after the expiration of the first.
Meredith was a Republican.
