American judge (1924–1992)
George Wesley Wuest[1] (February 3, 1924 – June 1, 1992)[2] was a justice of the South Dakota Supreme Court from 1985 to 1995, first appointed as an acting justice to seat 2 in September 1985, and then as a fully tenured justice to seat 5 on September 8, 1986, also serving as chief justice from 1986 to 1990.[3]
