Cassandra is a 1987 Australian horror film[2] directed by Colin Eggleston.
A young girl named Cassandra is haunted by nightmares of suicide, fires, and murder,[3] particularly of her young brother-- who is currently in an asylum for unknown reasons --murdering someone. Her parents attempt to convince her all is well, but she does not believe them. As her nightmares worsen, she begins to uncover dark secrets about her family: her parents are siblings, her brother has escaped the asylum, and her nightmares are actually hints of her possessing clairvoyance.
