Cameraria ulmella is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is known from Québec and the United States (including Texas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Georgia and Illinois, Connecticut).[2]
The wingspan is 7.5-9 mm.
The larvae feed on Quercus alba, Quercus ilicifolia, Quercus rubra, Quercus velutina and Ulmus species (including Ulmus americana, Ulmus fulva and Ulmus rubra). They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a flat mine on the upperside of the leaf.
