At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 43,004 in 11,667 households, when it was in the Central District of Tehran County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 53,451 people in 15,729 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 79,034 people in 24,385 households,[2] by which time it had become the capital of Bumahen District in the newly established Pardis County.[4]
