Blind Date was a game show which involved matchmaking. The show aired on ABC from May 5, 1949 to September 20, 1951, on NBC from June 7, 1952 to July 15, 1952, and on DuMont from May 19, 1953 to September 15, 1953. Arlene Francis was the host on the NBC version, and on the DuMont version Jan Murray took over from Melvyn Douglas on June 9, 1953.[1][2]
