Barrie Horace Mitchell (15 March 1947 – 24 January 2021[2]) was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward for Dunfermline Athletic, Aberdeen, Tranmere Rovers, Vancouver Whitecaps, Preston North End, York City, Greenock Morton[3][4] and Wigan Athletic.
Mitchell was a member of the Dunfermline squad that won the Scottish Cup in 1968.[5]
In March 1978, he joined Wigan Athletic,[6] making 10 league appearances for the club in the Northern Premier League.[7]
