Auriens Chelsea is a collection of 56 luxury later living private apartments for people aged 65+ in the heart of London [1], located on Dovehouse Street, overlooking Dovehouse Green and the King's Road, Chelsea.

Opened in 2021, Auriens offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 900 sq ft to over 2,000 sq ft, which are available for rental or to purchase, with prices from £2.75million [2] and many overlooking a courtyard designed by award-winning British landscape and garden designer, author, journalist, Andy Sturgeon. The site’s facilities also include a restaurant, wine cellar, gym, spa, hairdresser, swimming pool, speakeasy bar and cinema.

Auriens was majority acquired by leading global investor Oaktree Capital Management in 2022, alongside later living operator Amicala [3].

Auriens Group appointed Julie Fawcett as its new Chief Executive Officer[4] in 2023, in preparation for the development of the group’s second community in Weybridge. 2023 also saw William Harding join Auriens Chelsea as its General Manager.

Auriens’ community in Chelsea became an Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) Approved Operator in 2023, which is the main body representing the Integrated Retirement Community sector in the UK. It confirms that Auriens satisfies all the certification criteria, as well as an ongoing commitment to maintain the highest standards of living for each of its residents.

Care at Auriens is provided by Draycott Nursing & Care, a healthcare provider with more than 20 years of experience offering expert domiciliary nursing and care. In addition, Auriens has also partnered with the Kyros Project’s team of specialists in fitness, nutrition and physiology, to create bespoke wellness consultations for each resident. [5]
