Arzhang Rural District (Persian: دهستان ارژنگ) is in Bagh Safa District of Sarchehan County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Qanat Ebrahim,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 591 in 176 households.[3]
After the census, the former Sarchehan District was separated from Bavanat County in the establishment of Sarchehan County and divided into the Central District containing Tujerdi Rural District, Sarchehan Rural District, and the cities of Hesami and the new capital, Korehi; and Bagh Safa District containing Bagh Safa Rural District and the new Arzhang Rural District.[2] The county was further divided later when Tujerdi Rural District was separated from the Central District to establish Tujerdi District, which was divided into two rural districts including the new Marvashkan Rural District. At the same time, Hesami Rural District was established in the Central District and the capital of the county was moved from Korehi to Hesami.[4]
